JASSO scholarship

The Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students (Gakushu-shoureihi / JASSO scholarship) 2021
-Second Substitute Recruitment-

Eligibility

・Privately financed International students enrolled in a graduate school
・Students residing in Japan
・Students who have not been disciplined by the University
・The applicant must meet all the requirements for applicants and recipients of the fiscal year 2021 application guidelines.

Amount 48,000 yen/month
Duration 1 to 2 months in principle until March 2022
Application

Please submit the following five documents to the International Affairs Division by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 24, 2021. If all documents are not submitted, your application will not be accepted.

  1. Application form (Please come to the International Affairs Division and get the form.)
  2. Copy of both sides of Residence card [Sample]
  3. Copy of JP Bank's passbook [Sample]
  4. Academic transcripts for the year 2020 and the first semester of the year 2021
    *If you are a new student in 2021, submit a transcript of your previous school.
  5. Documents to prove your language proficiency (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Japanese Language Proficiency Test, etc.)

・This scholarship is a recommendation from the university. It is not possible to apply for other scholarships at the same time. Applicants can apply for other scholarships after being notified of the selection results of the scholarship they applied for.

Duration 6 months (October 2021 - March 2022)
Application

Please submit the following five documents by e-mail to the International Affairs Division at the contact information below by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021. The subject of the email should be "Application for the JASSO scholarship 2021 ".

  1. Application form
  2. Copy of both sides of Residence card [Sample]
  3. Copy of JP Bank's passbook [Sample]
  4. Academic transcript for 2020 academic year
    *If you are a new student in 2021, submit a transcript of your previous school.
  5. Documents to prove your language proficiency (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Japanese Language Proficiency Test, etc.)
