IGNITE (Institute for Global Network Innovation in Technology Education) held the 4rth seminar on 16th (Thu.) July, 2015.

(37 people in total including university students, staff, and people involved in international cooperation participated in the seminar)

Mr. Mitsuru Kato, the president of J 21 Corporation delivered a speech themed on 'The Situation of Israel's High-Tech Industry and Mikawa Region's Silicon Valley Plan.' In his informative speech, he explained about Israel's industry, the entrepreneurial business, and his plan of making Toyohashi-based Mikawa area into the industrial agglomeration of new businesses. The participants gave us valuable feedbacks such as "It was useful for me to know M&A between Israel and American companies," and "This seminar has changed my view towards venture business." In the question-and-answer session with audience, some people asked the lecturer various questions. One of the participants also said, "Mr Kato's powerful and friendly character made the seminar into a relaxed atmosphere.

I hope more students would come and see this for their future." Ignite is planning to hold several seminars related to the global issues such as economy, society, industry, technology, and education.

We welcome any suggestions to formulate the upcoming seminars.
