Flow of procedures for students' overseas training/study abroad
At least two months before travel, confirm that overseas training/ study abroad is to be implemented.
- In the case of a university program, confirm with the teacher in charge.
- In the case of a personal program, the traveling student himself/herself confirms this.
One month before travel, submit an "Application for Overseas Travel (Study Abroad Program)" and a "Statement of Acceptance and Statement of Pledge"① to the student affairs section of the International Affairs Division.
- In the case of a university program, the teacher in charge shall submit an Application for Overseas Travel (Study Abroad Program) (For university program)② to the International Affairs Division
- In the case of a personal program, the student shall submit an Application for Overseas Travel (Study Abroad Program) (For personal program)③ to the International Affairs Division
Up to a week from submission, the teacher in charge or the student shall be notified via email from the International Affairs Division approval of the implementation of the program and the overseas travel.
Before travel, the student must go through the visa application procedures, request issuance of the necessary certificates, purchase overseas travel insurance, and purchase airline tickets.
At least one week before travel, the student must submit a "Report of Temporary Leave" to the international students' section of the International Affairs Division.
