JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program "Regional Industry Promotion by Cluster Approach (B)"

ICCEED (International Cooperation Center for Engineering Education Development) will conduct the JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program "Regional Industry Promotion by Cluster Approach (B)" from Wednesday, 20th of September to Saturday, 21st of October in 2017. 11 participants from 9 countries, belonging to universities, administrative organization, and industrial support organizations, will join this program in order to promote industrial development of their own countries.

※9 countries: Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Vietnam.

This program offers multiple cases of cluster activities based on collaboration between government, industry and academia, especially focusing on food and agricultural industry cluster and Toyohashi experiences of regional development which is highly evaluated in Japan.

The program will provide whole process of cluster/regional industry development and promotion from planning to implementation by government (central/regional/city), think tank, university/research institute, industrial support organization and companies. Each lecturer will provide their knowledge and expertise based on their rich experiences in related field.
ICCEED hopes not only the participants but also the lecturers could get practical and new ideas through interactive and proactive participation.
