Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2019 (University Recommendation, Top Global University Project)

Qualification

  • An excellent student who is enrolled the Master's Program or the Doctoral Program in graduate school engineering TUT in October 2019.
  • Applicants must have grade point average of 2.50 or above out of 3.00 in the last year of study and is expected to maintain the same academic standards during the period of the scholarship.
  • Applicants must meet the language proficiency requirements described in the application guidelines.

Monthly Allowance Regular students enrolled in master's course: 144,000 JPY per month
Regular students enrolled in doctoral courses: 145,000 JPY per month
Period of Scholarship 6 months, from October 2019 until March 2020

  3. Research Plan or Research Status Sheet (Template format)
  4. Official Academic Transcripts (It should show the results for the last 1 year)
  5. Certificate of enrollment (in Japanese)
  6. Photograph (4.5×3.5cm, taken within the past six months, upper body, full-faced, no hats. Write your name and nationality on the reverse side. Digital photograph is also acceptable.) It must be pasted onto the application form.
  7. Certificate of language proficiency
    *Score of language proficiency test such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, or Japanese Language Proficiency Test, etc. should be presented.
    *Certificate to prove that you have completed your entire education with English or Japanese as your primary language.
  8. Photocopy of residence card (Both sides)
  9. Academic Performance Entry Sheet (Template format)
